FREE Summer Meals for Kids (Sacramento Area 2026)

Your guide to where kids and teens can eat free this summer.

School’s out, but the free meals don’t have to stop. Districts and libraries all over the Sacramento area serve free breakfast and lunch to kids and teens all summer — no sign-up, no paperwork, no questions about income. Here’s the full rundown by area, with the official link for each program so you can confirm sites and times near you.

The quick basics (true for almost every program below):

• Free for all kids and teens 18 and under — and you don’t have to be a student at that school.

• No registration, application, or proof of income. Just show up.

• Meals are eaten on-site — they’re not packed to go.

• Served weekdays (the library runs Tuesday–Friday).

• Many sites are closed Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth) and Friday, July 3.
